Interesting, but why charge for the app? Adjust your product price and leave the app free. This way you're not giving up profit to apple and people can download the app and check it out before buying.

The App is the brains of the thing and took months to develop. We want to continue to offer new shooting simulators and have some cool future things planned.

There are three Apps planned for the initial release, some still need development and that costs money. We don't want to pass that price into the other parts of the product. When someone may only want the "BULLSEYE" App - why should they have their product price adjusted up because we added the development expense of "Quick Draw" and "Hi Score" to the SLed or Laser Bullet?

The Apps will sell for $9.99, which gives people the ability to pick and choose which one they want and enables us to continue development of more Apps without having to charge more for the iTarget sled or Laser Bullets.

The iTarget Sled is really only for smart phones. An iPad won't fit into the sled. They way the product is designed, the larger ipads would actually get in the way of the target you are shooting at. The iTarget Sled was engineered specifically for our apps running on smart phones. (Though the App will still work on an iPad)

There will be many more videos forthcoming. However, the video included in the first post in this thread does do some explaining and shows it in action.

We will have more detailed videos on how to adjust the settings for different lighting environments and a video demonstrating it being used with a CZ 75, which is nice because the double action means you don't have to re-rack after every shot.

If California didn't have a 10 day waiting period - the CZ 75 video demonstration would have been available already.

IndieGoGo is a crowdfunding site for people who have developed a product but need to raise the money to get it mass produced. You are pre-purchasing the product, which in turn, funds the initial production run. Product is expected to deliver in September.

There will be a $99 Laser Bullet and iTarget Sled combo available. They are not limited to 100. The Apps will still be $9.99 each.

Considering that LaserLyte sells their Laser Bullets for close to $100 and their targets for much more - you are essentially getting a complete kit for not much more than $110.

The Laser Bullets are designed without a rim, so they do not eject. You use a pencil to push them out when you are done shooting.

The iTarget Sled will be offered with 1 choice of Laser Bullet, but we will have an option for 2 Laser Bullets and the Sled on the IndieGoGo campaign page.
It will be $159.

The lasers do have small set screws which align the Laser Module - but they are precisely aligned at the factory and I haven't had the need to adjust them yet.

The target is included with the iTarget Sled, but iTarget works with standard printer paper. The Sled is designed to hold a standard 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper - so you could print a picture of the Mother-In-Law if you wanted to. However, we have been researching and found a dual paper system which helps to diffuse the laser light and helps the system to work in brighter lighting conditions. I will be posting a video later that shows iTarget working outdoors.
