I am looking for a new barrel and wanted to try an 18" set up and this barrel has almost everything I was looking for. The only exception; why is this not a rifle length gas system?

other than that my only other concern is the lack of reviews, you posted one in another thread but it was a very summary one by a new builder.

the price is a screaming deal though
