I had my Freelock mini button come lose and fall out while shooting. any thoughts about using some light version of lock tight or something? I want it to be loose enough to quickly turn of course, but concerned that next time I will not find/see it (I was outside when I went to press the button and it was... gone).10 +1 in the chamberComment

Yeah, you don't want to use locktite. That would make it a pain to screw back and forth. You should try teflon tape. It dampens the vibration and still allows you to easily screw the button in and out.
Let me know this works out for you.FreeLock Mini Conversion Kit

Just wanted to post and say that the tool helped me remove my bullet button that I could not remove any other way. I wanted to replace my bullet button but after not being able to remove it using a small flat head I ordered the tool. It ended up being that my button button had been locktited since there was the residue on the threads after I got it out. ThankssigpicComment

Okay, let me see if I have this tool understood. It allows you to put a "piece" on the mag release contained insider the bullet button so I could simply use my finger to release the mag if I was out of state? And then while in CA, I keep the button off so I follow all the laws and have my OLL in a legal configuration?
Thanks everyone in advance,

The FreeLock Mini Conversion kit uses a special button that replaces the bullet button center nut and stays inside the bullet button. With the FreeLock tool you unscrew the FreeLock Mini Button out to release with you finger when out-of-state or using a featureless build.
You should also check out my latest product, the M.L.D. This is a 2 in 1 magazine lock which has 2 different settings, one for out-of-state and one for your standard fixed mag setup.
Please see the links in my signature for more info on the FreeLock Mini kit and M.L.D.
Here is a link to the dealers carrying my products.
Hope this helps, let me know if you have anymore questions.
Thanks,

Here's a recap of the mulitple uses of the FreeLock tool.
(1) It allows you to screw the Prince50 BB center nut on and off within seconds. This makes installation and removal for cleaning very easy.
(2) You can screw the center nut down further then using a standard screw driver. This allows for adjustment of overtravel of the magazine catch.
(3) Another option that you have and can only get with the FreeLock tool is locking the mag so that it cannot be released by pushing. This can be done by screwing the center nut all the way down until it stops. This setup turns the rifle into a flip open top loader. I know this is not required to be legal, but may be an extra percaution for transportation of your rifle.
(4) You can easliy remove your Bullet Button center nut that has been installed with LockTite or Thread Lock
(5) It makes for a great push tool to release your magazine.
Thanks everyone for you past and future purchases. The FreeLock Tool, FreeLock Mini Conversion Kit, Vamfire M.L.D. are only the begining.Stay tuned for more to come.
