One of my customers had an EAA break on him recently. Davidsons gave him the option of waiting 6 weeks for a repair or paying $12 to have a brand new gun shipped to him. He just had the new gun shipped. Davidsons even pays for shipping both ways.
The warranty is linked to the serial number. Whoever is holding the gun has the coverage. Davidsons just looks the serial number up in their database and as long as they sold it to a FFL the gun is covered for life. 20 years form now if the gun breaks and it is no longer made a similar replacement is provided.
