    I know thats an Anshutz but thats a typical symptom of a stressed barrel.
    barrel is warming up a doing something different. I'd get a new barrel ASAP.
    that would annoy the hell out of me.

      kcstott, I had it happen a couple times, it annoyed the hell out of me, and it hasn't been out of the safe since. Probably a year and a half or so since I even looked at it.

      I started a thread in the rimfire forum about it back then and had a bunch of suggestions, but I don't think I've made it back to test it since then! ...maybe I'll find time this year. Or maybe just rebarrel it anyway, because the end got chopped off when there was a bunch of muzzle dings discovered after I bought it (for a great price, that even if it needs a rebarrel, was good.)

          Rimfire...

          Different animal. Fliers are usually ammo related. but can't say. not enough experience with them
