Can you clarify the guest pass acquisition process. We need to go to the visitors center twice and they are only open Mon-Fri? Once to apply and after approval we need to go back to retrieve it? Or is it an instant background check?

It looks like we need to fill out the form on this page and the form asks for this sponsor info. Will the visitors center know what values to use?

    Name: SMGC
    Rank
    Phone number
    Organization: SMGC
    Edip

ALL SHOOTERS REQUIRING BASE ACCESS MUST BE US CITIZENS OR GREEN CARD HOLDERS, WILL NEED TO PASS A BACKGROUND CHECK AND PHYSICALLY GO TO THE CAMP PENDLETON VISITORS CENTER (MON-FRI) AND RETRIEVE THEIR VISITORS PASS UPON APPROVAL. NO ESCORTS WILL BE AVAILABLE. IF YOU CANNOT MAKE IT TO THE VISITORS CENTER PRIOR TO THE MATCH YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ACCESS THE BASE.

In Practiscore mark/fill in "Base access needed" and pertinent info. Upon match director approval you will receive an email with info needed for the visitor pass. Go to the visitor center with (all of these) Driver's Lic, Passport (or birth cert & soc security), vehicle registration & proof of insurance. They will process and hand you the pass.
      Valid for a 60-day cycle.

Yeah, it's a pain in the azz.

I think he might be asking does he need to go to the visitors center on a day before the match.. Lets say the Match is 7:30 am Sunday.. Can he show up at 6:30 am Sunday at the Visitors Center?

Basically what I remember is the Visitor center closes early M-F and is NOT open on the weekends

          OK, I see.
Visitor center does an "instant check", but they are only open M-F 7:30 to 3:30 pm. The same situation if going to MCB 29 Palms for NRA matches too.

Most the bases are like that.. whats weird is most do NOT want you to have any weapons in your possession until after the pass is issued. This of course can be a huge problem if your driving from far.

If you are somewhat local no biggie
