Anyone using QuickLoad here on Calguns ?

What to expect ?

As you all know I am the rookie in this discipline of shooting

All advice is welcome . . . .

BTW I am using a MBAir but read that Wine would run it fine !

Crossover (wine) would probably work since it's just a data base calculation system,

I run Parallels on my mac and boot XP when needed.

Ditch QL...

It is all nice in theory, but nothing beats just going to the range and doing your own load workups and determining your accuracy nodes that way. Chances are, you're probably using a popular cartridge and a popular bullet/powder combination and that there a list load data in the forums already on where to start.

Save the money for barrels, bullets and range fees

I have it. It has its limits. Some of the data is off, so you have to double check everything (10mm and 30 Carbine max pressures were off). I have found some good loads using it that weren't listed in any books. I mostly use it for pistol loads.
