    carrying ammo in drag bags?

I usually use 50 round MTM boxes. Not cutting it for a drag bag.

What do you put your ammo in for transport in a drag bag?

i prefer the mtm boxes but, for a drag bag I would honestly just use some ziplocs and stuff them in the bag pockets.

I really mislike loose ammo, but it surely would fit nicer in the bag pockets than a 50 round MTM case.

Anything better than a ziploc though? 20 round box? are there 10 round sleeves? What works well for you guys?

Try a bullet binder. Not exactly cheap compared to a plastic MTM box, though.

For loose rounds, I just use zip-up tool bags like these from the hardware store.

weg: That device is obsolete now. They replaced it with wizards.
frank: Wait a minute. There are more than one wizard? Is [are?] the wizard calibrated?

OT here but I sure as hell wouldn't put my rifle in a drag bag.
My stuff in in hard cases, Pelican 1750, gear goes in a duffle drop that at the 1000 yard line I'm good.
Cartridges go in a MTM green 100 round box.

I carry my ammo in my pack.
Putting it in the drag bag just makes the drag bag too heavy.

No more messing around with plastic ammo boxes or factory ammo boxes. These 20 round ammo cards are perfect for hunters, law enforcement, military and competitors alike. Soft and flexible, they are silent and easily packable. The paracord loop provides for easy extraction no matter if you store them in your pants, back

F class shooters always stand out.
Do you have a spotting scope on your cart too?

Well I'm not a gear queer and don't pretend to be something i'm not so all that tactical crap can stay at the store.

If you're doing a Tactical match that requires it that's one thing. Everyday transport. Oh hell no.. I got way to much money tied up im my rifles to use a bag to try and protect them.

No cart, and we probably do stand out. I do bring a scope but that's for the guy scoring, I can see the score through my scope just fine. I just did the playing army thing when i was a kid. Again if you shoot a Tactical match that requires it, that's one thing but everyday transport Nope.
