Anyone shooting Midrange match at Camp Pendleton?

Yes, I know it's not long range. Just curious if anyone will be shooting 3x600yds Santa Margarita Gun Club "Midrange" on Saturday, November 19th. My schedule's up in the air right now, but planning to go with my LRB M14

I'm trying to decide if I want to drag out my Garand and shoot 200 yards or go to the pistol class and shoot the two matches afterwards. problem Is i have a rifle to test and dial in that weekend as well.

The Garand match on Sunday is now 100yds. I'm planning on shooting my M1 Carbine for Sunday's match.

Are you sure about that?? it's listed as the 117 range unless they made a mistake. That's our 1000 yard range. I don't have enough match 06' ammo for 1000 yards.

Military use on Range 116 on 11-20-16 required us to move to Range 117.

Range 117 has a 100 yard line but not a 200 yard line.

The GSM will be using reduced targets at the 100 yard line.

              2 Course A's.

Midrange 3x600 is Saturday, Nov 19th

Garand/Military/Carbine Match is Sunday the 20th

I can see how it caused confusion-117 is normally the 1K.

My son will be stationed there for the next 3 years starting in February. I hope to visit him regularly ( from the SF Bay Area )and do some competing.

It'll be a good reason to come down and shoot.

Many disciplines available. Mid range, Long range, high power across the course (multiple ranges and multiple positions) Pistol.

I tell you come out and shoot, these guys put on a hell of a match. Good people too. good support and you can in most cases borrow a rifle and ammo.
