High altitude long range shooting?

Anyone do this at 10,000 feet or above? I have a few spots in the eastern Sierra and the White mountains where I can Jeep up to about 12,000 feet, the limit in California.

I found accuracy improves and so does distance. Even .22LR does much better up there.

I'm thinking of a summer Jeep run to CO and all those high mountain passes. Anyone have good experiences up that high? Any favorite spots?

The air is thinner at higher altitude.
A ballistic calculator will help you adjust your elevation and windage accordingly.
