I have had three AR's require a heavy duty extractor spring to operate correctly..and of course two of them were 7.5" pistol uppers. I tried heavier buffers, etc. Only the spring did the trick.
I had three much stiffer extractor springs to work with, but I will admit I forgot where I bought them. I am hoping a fellow calgunner could steer me in the direction of some very heavy duty springs in case the ones I had wear out.
They were physically thicker in the material and stiffer than the stock unit.
