    Glock Grip Chop

I was looking into a glock grip chop but first here are my options I can get a Glock 27 or a Glock 23 and chop the grip to a 27 length how many have done this and recommend it is it worth it I know you can get a xgrip and make it normal length again if you want plus you get a better sight radius and a rail that the 27 does not have thoughts, pictures?

If you can CCW, it may be worth it assuming it's done well and correctly. There is a lot at stake if you bodge it.

If you can't carry, I don't see the point. It's an alright concept if you need the grip shorter, but destroys the resale value.
The actual value of above $.02 is less than $.01 after taxes.

I would do it just so all size mags fit.

Yea see thats what I was thinking hi cap 22 and 23 mags plus the 27 baby mags plus I want something for HD and CCW plus I want something my girl can use too thats why I'm thinking doing the chop to a 23 or just get a 27 but with the 23Chop you get the best of both worlds with a 27L

Wonder how the balance is after grip reduction? If recoil changes?

What about putting a 23 barrel in a 27.... U won't get the sight radius, but you will gain the loss velocity. The barrel will just stick out little, less than half inch.

I just don't like the way that looks that's why I thought the chop wild be best looking and performing

Learn to shoot using the point method and go with the 27. Sight radius is great at the range but I don't know how much more alive you'll be in a CCW or HD situation with a bit of extra slide to sight on.

mdfb63 that is a perfect point you got here so basically if I went 27 it's all on me and point shooting will help in situation critical

If I have to draw my weapon in a defensive situation, I'm not gonna rely on my sights, let alone a few centimeters more of site radius as much as I am my trained hand-eye coordination.

Very good point on the whole situation in close quarters life and death even if the opposition has a gun to its basically point and shoot at that point no aiming really

Now, if you want to be the hero in an active shooter situation, then you might consider the chop. Just my thoughts. Best of luck however you decide to go.
