I had a Calgunner deal like that...

A guy listed a 357 DE pistol upper for a song. I happened to look at calguns by chance at 12:00 midnight and and posted "I'll take it!" along with my phone number so I could set up a meeting as the deal was very good. Darned if the phone didn't ring 5 minutes later..and the guy said he would drive it down to me from Riverside if I had the cash.

So I thought...meth head....needs cash, will probably roll me when he arrives, so I ask him to meet me halfway, at Green river exit off the 91 at the shell....Weirdest thing, having to meet at like 2:00 AM but I like 357 DE's, they shoot nice, plus I had insomnia. I also knew he was gling to sell that thing to the first guy who showed up...so I wanted it to be me.

When I rolll up he's there, looking kind of wired. I get in his car and there are pistols and ammo all over the place, plus an AR in ther back seat. I am really getting nervous now. I suggest we pack the stuff up in case a cop rolls up on us......and than he shows me his badge!!

He is a sheriff just off his shift, and wants to cash to buy a fishing reel the next morning!!! He was a great guy and we talked for an hour at least!! If you are reading this buddy give me a call!
