5.56 finish reamer needed

Anyone have a finish reamer that they would like to lend, rent, or do the work for me in the bay area? I have a .223 barrel that is tight, and I would not mind going to 5.56 to give me more flexibility. Thanks

Yes a long time ago. A 223 reamer would be easy to just clean up what is there. A 556 would be a little more work but not out of my abilities

Nope just your standard Chrome moly vanadium barrel.... nothing special about it..

What about the chamber is tight? Bolt gun?

AR. A round will not set because the walls are tight. Someone did a crappy job of making the barrel

My thought is that because 223 and 556 reamers are so close in some dimensions it's not really like the current chamber is a roughed in one, and because you already know that the job was crappy you are relying on the crappy job being concentric enough to be salvageable.

I don't love the idea of a reamer that's biting in some places and slipping in others. Besides that I guess I'd stuff a wylde reamer without it's pilot.

I think you need to take it to someone that does barrel work and have them look at it.
