    headspace gauge

Any one around the Encinitas area have a 5.45x39 no go gauge.
I have a GO gauge. AK builder was out of stock on no go when I ordered my flats and all my tools. I forgot to order one from somewhere else.

I just pressed my barrel in and think it is good to go, locks up on go gauge and lots of different rounds... but I want to make sure before I drill my virgin barrel. I can come to you or meet in my garage where my press is. I'm right off the 5 freeway on Birmingham in Cardiff. Or if someone knows where "local" I can buy one tomorrow that would be cool too.

if you take a .093 diameter drill and set it between the lug and the trunnion that should be where your bolt locks up on a go gage. it needs to be a little on the tight side.

You want to drive down to national city tomorrow??

look like it is just starting to lock up at that point with the drill bit in there.

If I don't get any closer replies I will get in touch with you tomorrow.
My dog had acl surgery on Monday and I don't want to wander too far for too long. Brian

I'd say it's good if you can feel it lock up.
