Looking for a reputable gunsmith in the Los Angeles area to do some checkering and machine work on my HK P7, and doesn't have a crazy backlog of work. Appreciate any info...thanks!

Thanks for the general advice, kcstott. I'm just trying to find a happy medium. I've waited as long as 11 months for my Tussey-built Caspian, and that was too long for me. Bruce Gray would be my choice for what I'm looking to do, but he no longer offers that type work on the P7. Alan Tanaka won't work on HK other than to swap sights.
Perhaps I should rephrase: is there a gunsmith that is willing to do custom work on a P7 that doesn't have a year-long backlog?Comment

Drill and tap frame for a custom-fitted rail. I've seen it done on several P7s. This particular P7 is a well-worn shooter to be used for home defense, and I would like the option of adding a small light if I needed to.Comment
