I have a DPMS BA22 rimfire upper that I changed the FF ribbed handguard out. I took the handguard that was originally on the BA22 and mounted it on another .22 cal upper and noticed that the bipod mounting lug did not time to be at the bottom of the rifle like it was on the DPMS. It's about 15 degrees off the centerline. I note that the DPMS FF ribbed handguard seems to have two pieces (the mounting nut and the rest of the rail that screws into the mounting nut) My question is; is there a way to time the bipod lug to be at the bottom? My local gunshop/smith says there isn't any way to achieve that after trying themselves. Any suggestions?

Timing a DPMS FF handguard?
A good rifle build isn't cheap, but a bad one can be expensive!
My house; like the White House, is NOT a gun free zone!Tags: None -
