    PSL rail placement?

I'm almost ready to heat treat this blank and want to drill all the holes before treating. I dont know anybody with a PSL. No BHO device on this. Can I use a center support rivet to hold rail in place? Please post some close up pics of a scope rail. Thanks.

Don't rivet before heat treat, but you can certainly use a rivet as an alignment pin after you drill the first hole.
Add a rivet to each hole as you go and they should all be aligned pretty good when you are done.
Clecos would also work pretty good.

Now you're going to have to write out a five paragraph explanation on what a clecos is for all these guys.

Too true, lol. My experience with clecos has been best on larger parts with a bunch of them. On something like a receiver and rail I like to use machine screws and nuts with washers.
