What do you paint on your AK?

When painting an AK do you folks paint the rails or leave them bare metal? Do you paint the whole inside? Do you paint the rear site? If you do paint it what do you do about the numbers on it? Do you paint the bolt carrier? I'm using Alumahyde 2 if that makes any difference. What does everyone recommend?
Any tips on what and how you do things are much appreciated.

I paint the whole inside so it wont rust. Then any unfinished part unless at one point it was parked, because normally in my experience old parked ak parts wont rust even when parking is worn off. Don't paint the rear sight.

i paint everything , inside and out. all parts. i use alumahyde too. only do about two to three coats max because it will get thick. i always try to get away with one light mist coat then flash dry with my heat gun they another light coat to cover everything then hit with the heat gun again and bake at 200 for up to 8 hrs and its done. if you do more coats it will get thick and will start to look alot more glossy. buy alot of extra spray nozzles also because they clog up sometimes.

No paint. I park then oil and grease.

But if I was to paint it would be Cerokote and i would coat everything.

Chewbaca - I ordered extra nozzles. I heard they can be a pain. Your AK looks great! If mine looks anywhere close to as good as yours I'll be very happy. I'll have to try it one day when my wife is at work so I can cook it. Does it smell up the house real bad?
