will this barrel need to be cut down

I bought this bubba'd sks last year, with the front sight post cut off. Finally put the prince50 front sight on it tonight, but I'm concerned with the length from the sight post to the tip of the barrel. Would leaving it as so affect my accuracy? Or should I have a few inches sawn off?
