    Help with Iver Johnson Enforcer's action

    Ok folks.. I'm hoping some of you can help. I'm not sure if this is similar action to the M1 but I'm pretty sure that it is..

    It appears that the bolt jumped out of the slide and I'm guessing that I'm going to have to remove the action to fix this.. any input would be great.

      Same action, takedown and assembly as a M1 Carbine.
      There are lots of youtube vids on takedown and assembly, take your pick.

      If this happened while firing, I would look are how the front of the op rod is riding in and being guided in the stock.
      The op rod should not swing out of its groove in the receiver if the front end is running straight back and forth with minimal side to side play.

          another video showed unscrewing the rear lug retainer... Also the bolt feels like it has a spring behind it.

          I guess the gun was jammed up and my gramps went to cycle it and that's when the bolt hopped out of its location. It should probably be taken down, cleaned and lubed.. neat little pistol...



          also , does anyone see any CA legality issues with this pistol? it does not have a VFG like some do.

              It has to have a mag lock and use only a 10 round max magazine.
