    Handguards... where do I start?

So I'm trying to learn the differences between hand guards. For example the following two, I really like:

    BCM KMR 13"

    Diamondhead VRS T 13.5"

However, I don't understand what the main difference would be if I went with one or the other in regards to accessories. Does the BCM offer more room/slots for adding accessories or can the same thing be done with the Diamondhead? Other things I need to be aware, I'd greatly appreciate it.

    Thanks!

I've never had a problem with this style of handguard:

If you are worried about how much room you have for junk on your rifle you need airsoft mallninja

Most rails have more then enought room for all the junk you could ever punt on a weapon.

The KMR will accept keymod accessories on either side or the bottom.
Keymod is a universal system supported by many manufacturers.
The diamondhead will only accept picatinny accessory rails from diamondhead.
Then, you have to use a rail mount accessory.
Keymod is replacing picatinny as the way to mount accessories on freefloat handguards.

no, believe me I'm not even thinking about adding lots to the rails. I was just trying to see what the differences are.

          Thanks!

            Thanks Randall.
I was also just reading about M-Lok. Do you think accessories for both (Keymod & M-Lok) are fairly easy to find and roughly the same price in general?

            Thanks!

              M-lok is Magpul proprietary.
Keymod is an open standard that everyone can use.
