    Itchy trigger finger...

I got about 3.5lbs of pressure on a 4lb trigger, and my cross-hairs are centered on this Harbor Freight Mini Mill.

After scouring the net, this is still the cheapest start up ($465 shipped with the 25% coupon), but has anyone seen a better deal recently? (and yeah, I know there's still a few tweaks to do to bring it up to the 80% par (air spring, stiffen the column, add XYZ DRO...), but I just can't find anything cheaper.

Anyone seen a better deal than that lately on an entry level mini mill? And yeah, I been watching Craigslist for like 6 months and either come in a day late to the few that I have seen, or folks basically want full price+ for used crap with no mods.

I honestly missed a few decent deals a while ago, when I was on the fence waiting for SB 808 to get vetoed or pass, but now that SB 808 is vetoed, I am ready to jump into the deep end.

All I can say is skim through ebay and craigslist

And you should have never let SB808 deter you.

Also you don't need all the upgrades to do an 80, wait till the gears fail to replace them with a belt drive, mine never failed.

        Do yourself the favor,
Get one of the brushless/hi-torque models.

Better off in the long run, plus more control/usability.

Deep breath... hold it... steady... squeeeeeeze...

            Boom, trigger pulled, heh.

FYI, $467.83 shipped using the 25% coupon (use code 41341964 - good till 12/5/14 if anyone needs it).

Yeah, I only plan to do the necessities. Stuff that needs upgrading will be upgraded when it wears out. Kicking myself for not jumping on your mill when I had the chance though, heh.
