Have a Colt 1911 (1918 vintage) in the white with most of the Parkerizing worn off. Has all the pits and dings an almost centenarian would have, but shoots better than I do. Has had various armory and personal mods, so is not a collector per se. Would like to give it a makeover that will last for the next century.
Am looking for recommendation for a gunsmith or shop that will clean it up, refinish back to Colt Royal Blue or 'Python' finish, instead of the Park. Thanks in advance.
