    Glock 30 problem.

The slide lock lever on my G30 is loose...The spring seems to hang-up and not push the lever all the way up. There's about .031 of up and down movement.
It's possible to move the slide lock down far enough to remove the barrel without having to move the slide to the rear.
The gun dry fires OK, I haven't had a chance to try it at the range.
    Any help would be appreciated.

Spring needs to be bent to allow more tention .Remove it ,bend it up and replace.

Thanks for the good idea...I'll give it a try.
What's happening is when I push the spring down to install the slide lock...it stays down.

The slide lock spring should push the slide stop DOWN, not UP.
If it's not pressing it down, check that the slide lock spring is installed correctly:

Call Glock it is a known issue they currently are having with the Slide Lock (the lever you push on to remove the slide not the Slide Stop that locks the slide back) coming loose or falling out completely in many models after firing. The problem seems to be that whoever makes the springs made them way to thin so they can not give enough tension no matter what you do to them. I have seen some of these springs and they are so thin if you turn your frame sideways or upside down the spring falls out completely.

Or it was put back together wrong
If you took it apart, do it again and make sure your putting things back the correct orientation, the slide lock 'can' be put in backwards

put the spring in by itself

Does it goes very easy or just drop all the way in with no pressure required?

When you turn the frame upside down does it fall out?

If either or both are yes then call Glock for a known warranty issue.
