AK Rear Sight Pin HELP

I have a Bulgarian milled receiver ak with a rear sight pin that absolutely refuses to move. I spent the better part of today hammering the life out of it with zero progress.

Is there anyone here that would be willing to lend me a hand? I've tried using my cheap 12 ton harbor freight press but all my punches are too long and it likes to shift side to side having very lose tolerances. FREE BEER TO WHOEVER CAN DRIVE OUT THE PIN WITHOUT DESTROYING IT OR THE SIGHT BLOCK/ SIGHT. Assuming whoever accomplishes that is legal to drink.

One thing I hate about the pins is their reluctance to move when needed. I used to hammer them at first, but now I stick with the punches to prevent mushrooming.

The trouble with that route is you'll have to shorten them. If the pins are stubborn enough, there's no way around this because the steel isn't strong enough. If you've already bent a punch then you cut it or grind it down to a conical tip and then grind the tip to a short tipped punch the same diamater as the pin. If the pin is badly mushroomed and driven hard into the blocks, it may take repeated efforts to create the tip again and again as it can crumble and/or crack under the high pressure of the press.

Harbor Freight sells a punch set fairly cheap. I've thought about trying a quench process after forming the tip to try and strengthen it, but never had to go that far...yet.

I have a cheap punch set and then I just purchased a craftsman set today. I'll take a bench grinder to one of the broken punches from the cheap set tomorrow and see if I can get something made that will work. The pin is pretty mushroomed. That isn't hard to tell by looking at it.

I'm somewhat afraid to use my press and a modified punch. I've had stuff fly out at me before. Thank heavens for face shields or else I'd probably have less teeth right now. Is there any way to anchor down the sight block and possibly the punch?

It would be awesome if someone could come up with a tool that was like a very thick but short pipe and a correct sized punch that fit perfectly inside of it, something like the akbuilder rivet jig. The pipe would prevent the short punch from flexing and bending while the pipe is secured and leveled by a bracket with space underneath it to place the item containing the pin that needed to be punched. In this case AK barrel components. You would align whatever pin you needed to be punched, set it in your press, and crank away until you here a nice little pop sound. From there you could probably drive the pin the rest of the way out with a regular punch and hammer or insert a longer punch into my magical/ imaginary jig set up. There would also be accommodations to interchange different diameter punches of varying lengths for different sized pins.
