    FN Mauser bolt dissassembly help

I've done this before but it has been a long time. Just tried to jump in and got a little bit of a mess on my hands.

Has the Buehler safety I believe (only safety is safe and locked).

Bolt shroud is still on and depressing the small plunger doesn't do anything. Safety came out along with the cocking piece.

Just need help either getting it apart further or reassembling and starting over.

I have never pulled the cocking piece off like that before pulling the shroud out of the bolt.
Do whatever you need to do to get the cocking piece back on the firing pin so you can then draw the cocking piece rearward to unlock the shroud from the bolt body.
As you have it now, it's probably stuck pretty good...

Vise grip pliers. Pull the firing pin back enough to clear the cammed safety feature at the front of the firing pin, and unscrew it.
Next time pull the sear piece back enough to trap it with a coin or washer and unscrew the whole works.

This ^^^^ is the correct answer for sure.

How the heck did you manage to take the cocking piece off???

I did not think this was possible without 1st removing the firing pin assembly ... with the cocking piece attached!

There must be a Mauser bolt virus going around. Had a Yugo come through the shop a month ago with the same problem, except this rifles owner managed to get the cocking piece off with the bolt still in the receiver!

Well, if there is a hard way to do something, SOMEBODY is going to find it!!

Proper way to remove the bolt with a Buehler safety

This is the way to do it ... I have no idea how you managed to remove the cocking piece that way
