My son had a membership a couple years ago and they were OK with it back then. Things may have changed.

After looking at the site I am not sure it's for me. It's $175 per month membership and there is a safety class requirement for some of the machines (isn't clear which ones).

So I would have to take a class before getting going? Maybe someone in the Bay Area would be willing to let me come by? I bring drinks and my own bits. Bought plunge cut set because I had a line on a machine. Unfortunately that guy is leaving his job and I can't in before he goes.

Ideally North Bay or Sonoma county but willing to travel.

The tech shop is always running sign up specials, but classes are required and the charge for the classes.
That said I took some CNC classes there and learned a lot.
