I Need GSG 22 help

My kid bought a GSG 1911-22.
After shooting it several time we decided to completely strip the gun to clean it.
Went to shoot it again and the hammer will not lock back after shooting a round.
I can manually rack the slide and a live round is ejected, then the hammer will lock back and fire when i pull the trigger again, but not by firing it.
It won't lock to half cock or full cocked if I manually cock the hammer.
I've watched bunch of Youtube videos and still can't find what i did wrong putting it back together.
Any ideas of where I went wrong?

These sentences perfectly describe a disconnector failure.
Either you lost a disconnector/disconnector spring, or you assembled something wrong/backwards that is keeping the disconnector from functioning correctly.
I'm not familiar with that particular fire control group, but from a functional standpoint, you have a disconnector failure...
