M70 receiver to trunnion fitting problem

So it looks like the left edge of the receiver (right side of the pic) isn't bent far enough and doesn't want to go in the slot of the front trunnion. The receiver is an Ak-Builder M70 flat that I just bent. Any good ideas on how to encourage it to fit? Do I need to bend the top edge a bit more? What's a good way to do that without farking up the receiver?

My first impulse is to put the bulged part in the vise and hammer the top edge down a bit. But seemed like a good idea to ask first...

I clamped one in the vise and massaged it over a little bit. I made sure the top rail were a good fit in the trunnion before I started whacking it though.

it took a little work but we got it. it was a PSL receiver though same concept

When I built my first Yugo M70 with the guidance of the AKTEAM, they had me look at how the receiver and the grooves in the trunnion lined up, had me file either the top or bottom of the bent portion of the receiver that goes into the grooves of the trunnion at an angle (making it narrower where the receiver touches the trunnion) to both allow the receiver to fit better into the trunnion and help align the trunnion level with the bottom of the receiver. Then clamp the receiver to the trunnion while drilling and riveting.

Yugos take a little massaging (their words)

same deal with my M85 build. you gotta make it fit. bend it over a little bit and put the trunnion back in to check. i belt the little lip down a little to line up better. also had to do a little filing. when i was all done still passed the tilt test.

All my AKB bulged trunnion flats look like this after they're bent. A little bending, filing and hammering does the trick.
