    NAA .22 rebulid question

    hey calguns.

I feel in a river while hiking with my .22 naa revolver, I took it apart to clean it, after lots of work getting all the little parts back together, i'm having one issue..

the cylinder lock no longer locks the cylinder in place when the hammer is fully cocked back, I de-assembled and re-assembled it numerous times but can't figure out what the problem is, can you shed some light on my issue?

WHY DA FUQ YOU TAKE THAT APART FOR????
Ok, now that out of the way, I remember it's a tiny torsion spring that pushes the locking thingy up. there should be a pin on the locking thingy that causes it to unlock when the hammer is cocked. It's something about the relative positioning of the tiny pin or something that allows it to lock back up again. I neither have access to mine nor will I bother to take mine apart if I did have access to mine to show you. Reassembling these things are a PITA and you'll definitely need tweezers and a slave pin to hold the hammer and everything else in place. Remember that next time, just blast it with cleaner and call it a day. Or... send it to a gunsmith. Also, If I wasn't in VA right now and probably gone for the next few month, I'd be willing to help you get it working again.
If you need help with any stragglers, call a friend, because it's likely that they have a gun. America in particular have done exceptionally well taking care of the problem, as there are 1.12 guns for every 1 American citizen. So throw a rock, you'll probably hit a gun, pick up that gun, then shoot a zombie.

Look at the schematics on this web page to find the missing or misplaced parts.

Send it to Utah. The timing is precise and I wouldn't want to mess that up myself. They will fix what you screwed up.

Next time, use a blower and a hair dryer.

Most likely, the bolt spring is not installed correctly.
