    I screwed up

Big. I got an 80 I was drilling out and I drilled to far. The stop vibrated loose and went from 1.249 to1.38". And it went right threw the bottom. It's up front In front of where the tigger should be. I feel stupid for not checking. Is it salvageable? I figure there's a big ol hole right behind it (trigger) and it's not a stress point. The two holes are 1/8" and about 1/4" apart

It may be a bit bubba but if you have access to a tig welder the hole(s) could be filled. Then smooth it out and re machine.
Not ideal but better than having a skeletonized open bottom.

It's not structural. But there may be issues with trigger over-travel and spring possition. Probably fine tho. I'd finish it.

As long as the trigger spring doesn't drop through the hole you're GTG.

LOLLL!!! Okay Okay, not that funny! but I did have a quick laugh for a sec given I just done messed two 80's I was doing just the other day where I somehow milled too much material to the point my trigger can no longer fit unless shimmed heavily. LOL
