I use a 5/8" ball endmill and cut straight across with the front grip of the frame levelled in the mill vise.
I do the job for $30.

Lots of videos on U tube showing Dremel Monkeys.... err WECSOG DIY undercutting....

It is the frame that is being cut.... if you mess it up, your pistol can be ruined....

What problem are you having with the factory design?

Check under my stats. I have one on a glock, includes stippling and grip reduction.

I have done a bunch of these and i settled on the cut needing to be straight out from the front angle of the grip so that when you draw, your middle finger can wrap straight into the grip and come straight back out.
If you notice how your cut is undercut in front of your knuckle, that little ledge stops you from getting Into the grip as fast as a straight cut.

Try drawing fast from a holster and then try some more after you straighten the cut out and let me know what you think.
