Hey Nathan, Now that the letter is issued and you know you guys can sell/make more, can you sell pre-orders? I want your product, but yesterday was pretty disappointing to say the least. Many of us were sitting at the computer trying and trying, but were let down by demand on your server. This after checking daily on this thread for info. If there were a list, it might take a while, but at least we would move towards getting a product. As it stands, we're no better off than we were in February. I'm sure somebody smashed their computer yesterday....

They have said they won't do preorders. Why people continue to put money away on preordered things astounds me, they fail to work out so often. If they had taken preorders on this, tons of people would have been disappointed, just earlier.

I thought that it had to do with not having a letter. Maybe if there was a list, but you don't pay till it ships or something. Nobody said anything about paying up front. Lots of places operate like that.

We couldn't sell them until we got the letter, we don't just try to get as much $ as we can and don't care for our customers like some places so we wait for the letters and do it right.

Everyone gets POed at those places too that do pre-orders and then get mad it takes so long. We have all seen the threads and frankly ask any company that does it, they get calls and are called everything under the sun. Whether or not you admit it most people feel that if there is a pre-order then they will be getting it "soon". Then you have the "come on I have bought stuff from you for years so hook me up" syndrome.

Then if you do pre-orders then it will NEVER be in-stock as we would be just filling back orders and we get complaints that we “never have XYZ in stock”.

You can't please everyone and we have tried pre-orders, NEVER AGAIN. We opened it up for everyone at the same time, next time we just wont announce when and it will be a surprise.

We make them every day and will be in/out of stock constantly. It is a new release guys everyone knew this would happen.

Good on you. Sometimes part of the job of a company is to educate it's clients. That was a clear, concise description of why you do what you do, and I'm sure more people than just I appreciate it. Thanks for standing by the work.

Some just want some sort of assurance they are locked in to a purchase.

I don't like preorders either. Not knowing when it will be I stock sucks but it would suck more if you paid up front and didn't know when you'd get your stuff.
