      Context is awesome.
      Lack of it is perplexing...

Let me know if you need any cylinders hydro-tested or small oxygen cylinders filled in the south LA and north OC area. I also may be able to give calgunners discounts on certain victor products.

Aimsmall already sells jigs for the 1911. It's designed for the KTO frames, but all the hole placement seem exactly the same.

I'm guessing it's 100% compatible with the TM frame, but we won't know until someone gets a TM frame in hand and compares it against a Aimsmall jig.

I don't think Aimsmall has many extra jigs? Maybe a few?

I DO think they will work (I have one). It is a nice jig and Aim does good work but I'm also (pretty) sure Tactical Machining's jigs will be cheaper?

I also think I like using a key cutter better than an endmill in a (pretty much) blind slot to cut the rails. I used a key cutter for my Ares build and everything is easy to see and measure.

I'm not sure just how TM's jig will be set up (no one that I know of has seen it) but I'm very nervous about the end mill in the slot (Aim's) method. Maybe once I've done one my fears will be alleviated???

Honestly I have only seen solid works models (3 of them at that so I really can't answer any questions on them). We have the metal but no mill time.

We really are working on other things like increased 1911 production, .308 uppers (will be back in a few months) and of course variances.

A lot of people will be able to do it with out a jig, heck I have seen a ton of posts on 1911's without a jig just for the two piece pistol that was on a group buy.
