action block, barrel wrench, punches and hammer, vice
Are you replacing something? What?
It costs more for the tools than to have someone do it, but will you do it in the future?

Do it yourself, it is hard to screw up, and you come out learning how to do it. You'll need to remove the handguards (tool or by hand), remove the gas tube roll pin to pull out the gas tube (punch and hammer), unscrew the barrel nut (armorer's wrench and block), insert new barrel, put on and tighten barrel nut using wrench (make sure gas tube fits through).Comment

I get every thing but one unscrew the Barrel. I try to unscrew with armorer wrench, but it very tie. I guss I have to order the block to make it easier. Thanks"Give a man a fish; you have fed him for today. Teach a man to fish; and you have fed him for a lifetime"

I tried to do that to and it doesn't work. You absolutely need the armorer's block or the panther claw (which I haven't used).
Learning how to gunsmith your AR is extremely valuable considering the rifle is really such an easy platform.Comment

Funny, I figured someone would have responded by now.
Do you have a original Colt 14.5 inch M4 barrel? If so, you need to have a longer hider or brake perm installed.07 Class II in the Bay area.
