Problem with ar 15 bolt catch!!

The right springs are in place, the plunger is there and yes i am pulling it back all the way

yes stag lower and yankee hill upper

I was thinking something might be catching near the buffer tube retention area. The bolt comes out smoothly when the upper is separated?

Yes it does,could it be the spring or buffer ?

That's what I'm thinking. Something is holding it up. Hard to tell with pics I guess
