Nicks on mosin crown

I was wondering I have several nicks and scratches, not real deep on the outer part of the crown on my mosin 9130. It doesnt go into the barrel. Is this okay or should i try to buff it out?

If it's not in the rifling, let it go. I suspect if you look inside the barrel, you will find it has been back-bored, because of the severity of crown damage common to these rifles.

It hasn't been counter or back bored. The nicks are on the very front flat part of the muzzle not on the curve or inside of the barrel

Lap with brass 10-24 round head slotted brass screw and valve lapping compound or bring it to a machinist top recrown

Or buy the Manson kit for around $90 and do it yourself. You never did say what kind of accuracy it exhibits.
