    Hungary ak?

Hi new here. My boyfriends boss builds AK'S but he's never seen these.
What do I need to buy to build this? He said that alls he's set up to do are the 1mm flats.
    Thank you. http://whatacountry.com/Combo-AK63D-...nd-Barrel.aspx

    1mm AMMS underfolder flat.

Plus rivets, maglock, and your 922R components. The quality of the furniture in the kits have been hit or miss in my experience but I have never gotten one from WAC.

If he's set up to do AKM builds, he's set up to do these and other Underfolder (1mm) AKM's. How many AK's has he built?

Building a Hungarian AK is no different than building any other AK. Here's our AMD 65 and AMD 63 with our other AK builds.

I was wondering about that. All the AK flavors have their own personality but I don't know much about the Hungarians. Those WaC kits linked by the OP do look nice and have a have an unfortunate hole in my safe where an underfolder should be.

Any more info about them? Blued, parkerized or painted; type of wood used, etc...

They are painted with Beech wood. The Hungarians had some of the nicer machining I have seen. I've always liked the light colored beech myself.

IIRC you may not be able to get at a couple of the rivets on an underfolder with some riveting jigs.

The hungarians are by far the nicer AKs. The steel handguard is a really nice look.

Thank you everyone. He already looked it up and saw it was a 1mm. 69mach1 I believe he said the best builder on here is the guy that got him addicted. Nikkorooshi or something. As for how many he's built I don't know but he had over 15 of them out last weekend when he invited my bf and me to shoot with him. He showed me 2 of his amd 65s today that he built those look really cool.
