I need help finding a shotgun barrel.

Ive been keeping an eye on Corson's and gunbroker but Im hoping my fellow calgunners may have some other sources theys be willing to share.

Im looking for a donor barrel for my 20ga Remington model 11. I have the numbers matching 28" barrel for it, but im looking for something to have chopped down for range fun.

You might have better luck finding a missing 777 on the bottom of the indian ocean.

      So your saying there's hope...

      I keep finding them in 12ga & 16ga but nothing in 20ga

Edit: Maybe its time to start looking for a complete 20ga in rough condition, I can chop its barrel and strip the receiver for spare parts.

I have SEEN lots of model 11's in 12ga and 16ga and even in 410, but I don't think I have ever run across one in 20ga.
I'm guessing they did not make a lot of them.
Perhaps 20ga replaced 16ga in the market after the time that model 11's were mostly being sold so only a few 20ga guns were made before the switch to the 1100...

Is the barrel extension what threads on to the barrel and fit into the receiver?

The barrel is pretty useless without the extension as that is what slips into the receiver and the bolt locks into it.
People re-use extensions and have new barrels made to fit them.
That's why you run into barrels without the extensions on them.

                    That one looks fine.
I can shorten it and put a bead on it.
It's up to you to tinker with it to get it to function with the shorter barrel.
