    Duracoat on 1911 and sights

    Want to duracoat a Ria 1911 with gi sights anyone had success masking off sights and duracoating around them or is it going to look like you know what any suggestions

      coat it all and then paint the dots back on again

          you will more than likely destroy the front sight taking it off. its staked on. the rear can be removed. i would just paint them and paint the dots back on like bksa suggested
