    ak REAR SIGHT

    MY REAR SIGHT LEAF IS NOT HORIZONTAL BUT AT AN ANGLE
    What can be done about this?
    File the notch of the sight?

    Ak's are not known for there accuracy. More like spray and pray

        AK rear leaf sight

        "spray and pray"--an oft quoted comment about AK accuracy.
        Most all of my AKs are fairly accurate, Not as accurate as the AR platform but accurate enough.
        It should not ever be a quoted as a cure for misalignment of parts

            What is your horizontal reference?
            The front trunion or the rear sight base?

            If the sight blade is crooked to the rear sight base, you can take the blade out and file on the little nub that sits in the rear sight base or inside of the rear sight base where the nub sits.
            You will want to file the low side to raise that side up.

            If the sight is crooked to the front trunion, but straight to the rear sight base, that's just how many AK's are...
