AES10B Rear sight removal

Anyone here know how to remove and install a AES10B rear sight assembly?
Century is sending me a new one, but they don't know how its installed.

The whole sight base or just the sight itself?

Either, they said they were sending the sight assembly. Just need instructions if you done it before, i never have. this is my first ak, i have ar15 which is a totally different animal. I just need to replace the sight itself. The sight adjustment knob is bent so bad that it cant be rotated.

It's easy to replace the sight itself - you push down on the end of the leaf spring under the sight (the end closer to the muzzle), then pull the sight up and out. It's easy to do if you use a drill press to push down on the end of the spring.

how willing is century to send out parts?

Depends on the part, They are very unwilling to ship to California, They won't even sell 10 round mags to us. The excuse i got for not returning a rifle is it's a ATF rule. They will ship sights i know..but other parts, im not sure of, you need to call them.

Now i know how lepers felt. Im really looking at moving, I had it with this state. It doesnt look like we are gonna get any of our rights back. I really believe we are stuck with the AWB . Im looking at nevada.
