    Center punch reccomendations needed

I am building a 10/22 and am using the Razor jig for it. I really don't want to drill thru the jig, possibly causing it to remove some jig material. I think even the slightest amount would throw off any future builds. I plan on using a center punch. But all my punches I have-and it is all different sizes, don't really center the punch. The tip of the punch comes out before the punch bottoms in the jig. Any suggestions? I am thinking I need something like a pin punch, but it also has a centering punch built in. Does anyone have any suggestions?

When they actually had paper catalogs, just leafing thru the pages in the "reading room", you could learn a lot. Somebody somewhere, has the same problem to solve, and somebody came up with a tool.

It is almost impossible to get a yellow bible now. MSC catalog was still available to the masses last time I checked. Work gets a yellow so I "borrow" their previous version.

Get drills the size of the holes to be drilled, cut off the shank at the flute groove, get a electric drill and grinding wheel and grind carefully to a point at around 40-60 degrees and you now have a spot/hole/location punch
