I am looking for a good gunsmith that works on 1911 models, specifically a para ordnance. I am having trouble with the grip safety. Thanks and I am in the Corona/ Riverside area.
There is a pin that goes through the grip safety very near the hammer. It popped out a little and now the grip safety wont work nor will the slide operate even manually. I tried pushing it back in even tapping it, but wasn't sure how much or how hard to hit it.

There's Will O'Hara in Corona, but if you describe the issue(s) you're having with the grip safety, we might be able to help you resolve it.
