    80% lowers, so many choices...

...no way to finish them. :-(

From what I have read is that forged are the lowest quality(hence cheapest), the billet(6000-something followed by 7075?).

Can someone PM me, or post here, the following...
    -recommended jig
-decent tool to finish the job (drill press/ cheap mill)
-is $150 the going rate for decent billet lower? I have seen unfinished for $120-ish.

I'll probably get blasted for posting this by the people with high end machines but you could try this route.

We stock AR15 lower jigs from models like our Easy Jig to our Universal Drill Press. See what AR15 jigs we have for your 80% lower build right here!

At this point with all the Heat from the Fuzz anyway to complete a lower that leaves a reasonable well finished pocket and accurate location of the TG holes is a good one.

I could not imagine trying to whittle one of these things out on a drill press or a router. that would just suck. Even on a mini mill it would suck. But then again I'm spoiled from working on real machines for a very long time and it's the performance I expect. There is no substitution for having good machine tools at your disposal
