Ak Barrel Work?

Are people still doing barrel work like headspacing and barrel populating? Or is this included in the recent "no-no's" and requires a FFL to accept from others?

Yes and Nope- should be 100% okay. The 'populator' never touches your receiver- headspacing a barrel to a trunion is just making an unregulated part fit another unregulated part.
