can this be welded back together?

I have bought a broken slide rail for a project and i am wondering if the pieces can be welded back together without warping it?

I would guess it could be clamped down, preheated and tig welded.

If the guy welding don't know what he's doing yep.

it needs to be preheated clamped to a plate welded then post heated and allowed to cool slowly for minimal warping

If you weld, it warps... Period. If the welder is skilled enough to understand how it is going to warp, the welding can be approached with a plan and controlled for an acceptable end product.
