Guns80.com 80% lowers

Has anyone picked up any lowers or jigs from these guys? I was thinking about getting into a build but have not heard of them. Also is there any concern on the material ghat is used: cast 380 Al alloy.
Another questions is if the jig that they sell is a universal or is it proprietary set. Any input would be appreciated.

I wouldn't touch a cast aluminum receiver EVER, I made the mistake a while back and the junk is in the bottom of the tool box.

I'm aware of the typical property differences between cast and forged. However, I figure if they can make lowers out of Magnesium and plastic that cast - especially with the rear supposedly beefed up a little - is probably adequate.

I have read a few different sites and it seems to say that forged is stronger but cast will handle the stress the ar lower will deliver.
Do you have a link that I can research more on the subject? TIA
