Ak gun smith in SD?

Hi all,

I have a Yugo M70 OPAP, that's having a issue with mag lock up. Tight.....Very tight. I'm not sure if it's the magwell plates (controls height), or the the actual catch that needs to be filed down. ( I can see the wear marks)

I can insert Tapco mags fine, no issues. The problem begins when you use a 10/30 steel mag, you really have to tilt it at a angle and pop it in there with force. Some mags are easier than others.


I would do it myself. But I was wondering if there's anybody locally that could help?

sounds like the mags are too big to me. Tapco mags are always oversized to begin with, so if your mags arent fitting then they must be even larger. File the mag not the gun.
